ROMMMEEEE!
First off we went out on Thursday night so yes we we’re all still drunk the next morning on the 7 o’clock bus. And just letting you know drunk packing is the worst idea ever- I forgot MONEY! But besides the rough start it was loads of fun. We got all holy on Friday and went to the Vatican and then saw every sight ever on Saturday. Then the nights we of course partied...
7.18 ITALIAN COOKING
We went to one of the Vastesi’s house and her grandmother taught us how to make homemade pasta and homemade pizza. It was quite amazing- but such hard work. Italian women are the bomb!

I forgot the WINERY! We all took a bus trip all day. We visited an old church (this is Italy after all!), a winery (where we saw wine get made and then had a nice drink), and a town where they are known for their confetti (A CANDY TOWN- bought some pretty sweet candy flowers, no pun intended). Then we went and ate in the country/ mountains and we actually had hearty food?!
7.15 Text from Luca
Buonanotte Shadai. Sei entrata nella mia vita cm un ciclone e ti sei presa pezzi di mi. Il mio cuore, piccola, appartiene tra le tue braccia. Ti amo.
7.12; 7.13
Made a dinner with the Professoressa and it was fabulous- but again it took hours. Matt and I made ravioli we got fresh from the pasta store! That’s not what is important though, Luca told me he loved me! I ahhhh. I love him so much and I refused to believe he had stopped loving me back. I was right!! Then on Tuesday Anna and I read Cappacetto Rosso to little Italian bambini. It was cute....
7.10- 7.11
DISCOTECAAAAAA! Being adored by Italian boys and dancing haha. :D
7.4 No Independence Day for Us
It was the fourth of July but seeing as I’m in Italia no fireworks. Anna and I did go to the potato fest with Deborah, Cristiana and Alisondra though. It was a bust and we ended up just going out to eat, where of course I got pasta.
7.3 I tedeschi e Piazza Party
Went to the Marina and watched the world cup Germany v Argentina at an Argentinian bar. Germany won and a German guy did a flip! Ate some french fries woot- weirdly Italians eat them with mayonnaise- can you say gross. Then was a street fair tonight complete with a band, wine tasting, pasta, pesce, i frutti, cheese, and olio. Got a little tipsy on two glasses of wine- embarrassing and had to get a...
7.2 IL WEEKEND
Beach and world cup. Beach Bar and a margarita. Life is god. Then to the pub and Vasto Marina to scope out i ragazzi italiani. xoxo
6.28- cucinare
Early morning. Cappuccino before heading to Claudia’s for a cooking lesson. We all get there, listen to a phone convo between Claudia and Antonella, write down the ingredients hanno detto and head off to the mercato. We went to a fresh fruit and veggies market and a cheese shop! It smelled soooo yummy. I am gonna gain so much weight lol. Lunch took over 4 hours to make- mamma mia! I got a...
6/27: A Roma
I didn’t sleep at all, I was tired but so anxious! I swore I was going to miss my plane but I DIDN’T! I’m not quite sure if I went through customs right; they didn’t even look at my passport. I had a mini breakdown after arriving but like a baby I called my mommy and everything got better. I passed out as soon as I got back from calling mi mama and Mariana couldn’t...

6.26 Arggh
Today has been an absolute nightmare. The problems on the ride down were only made worse once I got to London. Really you want me to leave the airport and go out into London BY MYSELF. Obviously these people have no idea who I am. So after many tears and hysterics I am now sitting in a closed Heathrow, in a very small and hot room, surrounded by thirty other poor souls. I am praying I don’t...
6.25 L' inizio (The Beginning)
Domani è il giorno! Non vedo l’ora di essere in Italia! Il primo posto-Roma!
